Eligibility requirements for applicants:

Completed a program of studies in Canada:

  1. PGWP eligible programs
  2. Program credential:

a) Degree (Associate degree/Bachelors/Masters/Doctorate)

b) Diploma/certificate (the program needs to be of at least 8 months)

  • 16 months or more: can combine 2 diplomas or certificates, each must be for at least 8 months
  • Less than 16 months: the program of study should be leading to a skilled trade occupation (list below)


CLB 5 in French or English

Not be self-employed

Be employed in Canada in any occupation when PR application is submitted

Reside in Canada with a valid status when the PR application is approved

Applications will be open from May 6 to Nov 5 of 2021 (limited spots available for English-speakers).
